The debut release from both Splet and the newly formed, Manchester based They/Them Collective. Splet arrives with MurmIration, an uncompromisingly heavy slab of Electronic Industrial Dub, which pays respects to the Roots of Reggae while taking it into a droning, nightmarish, science fiction future. Next up is an even more twisted version of the title track from Splet, which further explores the riddim in a way that would make Experimental Dub luminaries such as Scorn and Techno Animal proud. Finally we close with an exceptional version by fellow member of They/Them Collective, Proper LoFi, showcasing an ethereal yet driving DigiDub style that we are all excited to hear more from with imminent TTC releases.
